Flint oil lamp.
I made a lamp yesterday with natural materials.
I had a piece of flint with a large depression I used as a well. The wick was made from dry nettles mixed with cat tail down. Oil was olive oil but any fat would do.

Apparently olive oil lamps were popular on ships in the old days as they went out if spilt.
Very neat! Looks like you're prepared if the lights go out!
