A few hours in my woods

An early mature Beech failed at a poor fork union.

Making feather sticks with my F1. Apprently some people find F1 hard to use and say you can carve with them because of the 4.5mm diameter. I disagree because the bit you carve with is actually as thin as any other knife. Granted it isnt the best carving tool but it can do any job in bushcraft.

A bit of whittling to make a throwing stick

Some nettle cordage practise

Wilting nettle tops on the fire for a snack. This is a tasty way to cook them as they retain more flavour

Carving a hole throw wood with the F1. Anything is doable.

A notch.

looks like a grand trip out, agree with you 100% re the thickness of the knife, the skill lays with the person not the tool, anything is possible if you put your mind to it, some people are far to quick to bemoan some tools, but you usually find they have never used the tool in question in the first place
